Zombie Bankers Premiere

So last night was the premiere at the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival. It was very exciting. Everyone met up before the showing and chit chatted for awhile and took some photos. It was great to see everyone again. It brought back so many memories from the summer we filmed it. After seeing the film was done I was shocked at how great it turned out. I was very impressed. It improved by leaps and bounds from the first edit we did. More music was added and it was trimmed down a bit more. It was much tighter and the story much clearer. We got lots of laughs haha. It was a wonderful feeling seeing all of our hard work put out there for people to see. I'll never forget it. Drew, the director, was ecstatic. Everything is finally coming together. :)

It plays again next Saturday. Can't wait.

SOOOOOO....it's been quite awhile. A lot has changed since the last time I wrote anything here. I've been working to save money for the past couple years. My plan is to move to California within the next 6 months to actually get a job in my field that I enjoy and possibly attend special effects school. In the meantime I worked on the the independent film Zombie Bankers with actor/director/writer Drew Snyder. It was a great experience that is still on going. For the film I was the Director of Photography but took on many other hats as well on set. It was a real team effort from the whole crew and I loved every minute of it. We wrapped at the end of the summer 2009 and have been working on the finishing product ever since. All the hard work has paid off and we are now being featured at the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival this month where we are being nominated for best Western New York film. It is beyond awesome! We also received an honorable mention at the LA Reel Film Festival this past year. I can't wait to see what comes next for the Zombie Bankers crew and also for myself. I can't wait to start the adventure I've been planning for so long :)

And so it begins....
